The Qingdao High-tech Zone held the 2025 Low-Carbon Day event, with the participation of both government and enterprises, jointly building a new ecological environment for green development.
To deepen the construction of "Shandong Province's Green and Low-Carbon High-Quality Development Pilot Zone", on June 24th, the 2025 Qingdao High-tech Zone Low-Carbon Day event was successfully held at Shandong Huatong Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. This event was jointly organized by the High-tech Zone Branch of the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau and Shandong Huatong Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., and was co-organized by the Economic Development Department of the High-tech Zone Administration and Shandong Jieyuan Electrical Co., Ltd. The event focused on the theme of "policy guidance + practical empowerment + consensus building", and established a communication platform for the coordinated promotion of low-carbon development by the government and enterprises.

Government and Enterprise in Sync: A Full Chain Linkage from Strategic Interpretation to Practical Implementation
The event kicked off with the speech by Wu Pengpeng, the deputy general manager of Shandong Huatong Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. In his speech, he emphasized: "Low-carbon transformation is not an optional choice, but a mandatory question for the high-quality development of enterprises." This demonstrated Huatong Technology's determination in implementing low-carbon development.
Low-carbon development cannot be achieved without policy guidance. The leaders of the Haidian District Branch of the Qingdao Environmental Protection Bureau provided an interpretation of the local policies under the national "dual carbon" strategy, and introduced the latest achievements of the pollution reduction and carbon emission reduction pilot project in the Haidian District, offering policy guidance for low-carbon development.

Adhering to a low-carbon lifestyle begins with awareness. The leadership of the Economic Development Department of the High-tech Zone Management Committee provided a fascinating analysis of low-carbon development from the perspectives of daily life practice, enterprise strategies, and policy opportunities, helping to further embed the concept of low-carbon living in people's minds.

Technology Empowerment: Visual Presentation and In-depth Discussion of Low-Carbon Projects
Theory needs to be combined with practice. At the event site, a video of the three-dimensional water purification complex of Shandong Huatong Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. was played, visually demonstrating the achievements of the company's low-carbon project. Subsequently, the deputy general manager Wu Pengpeng presented the results of the three-dimensional water purification complex low-carbon project, sharing the company's experiences and achievements in low-carbon practices.

At the end of the event, all the participants solemnly signed their names on the "Low Carbon Commitment Letter" wall, committing to practicing green office work and promoting technological innovation in production processes. The wall was set against the backdrop of a "Tree of Life", and each participant's signature was like a "green leaf", merging together to form a dynamic pattern symbolizing ecological governance, bringing the atmosphere of the event to a climax.

Finally, Wu Pengpeng, the deputy general manager of Shandong Huatong Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a closing speech for this event. He stated that this event marks a new beginning for the collaboration between the government and enterprises in achieving the "carbon neutrality" goal, and called on all participants to become the "carbon leadership pioneers" of the High-tech Zone, jointly promoting green development.

Subsequently, the host announced that the 2025 Qingdao High-tech Zone Low-Carbon Day event had come to a successful conclusion. The holding of this event created a platform for communication and exchange between the government and enterprises, strengthened the awareness of low-carbon development, and played a positive role in promoting the green and low-carbon high-quality development of the high-tech zone.
